Christine Ward and Rick Haase opened the first Patina store in September of 1993 in South Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With Christine’s degree in studio arts and business and Rick’s degree in retail and business, they combined their skills to create a lifestyle brand that has grown to eight locations in the Minneapolis/St Paul Twin Cities metro area.  Patina is a specialty purveyor known for selling a mix of home decor, jewelry, fragrance, stationery, gifts and toys in an inspiring and ever-changing environment.

The name Patina was inspired by the concept that the products showcased would bring joy and become more meaningful over time.  Value is placed on sustainability and price point while celebrating the beauty in everyday objects.   “Objects that improve with age” and “Accessories for a good life” are taglines used that summarize the brand.

We are currently not offering an e-commerce store. All Patina locations offer shipping on most products upon inquiry.
